We’re proud of the industry awards we’ve won but even more important is what Hardie Polymers customers say about us.
Still it’s also great to be recognised.
We were delighted to be awarded Polymer Distributor of the Year by Corporate LiveWire
We were featured in their online magazine and you can view a special editorial edition here.

The award-winning polymer team
Winning their Innovation & Excellence Awards for 2019 is another great achievement, coming on top of Hardies other previous awards.
So why did we win these awards?
We demonstrated the great service we give our customers when they are buying polymers.
And who provides this award-winning service for customers?
Our fantastic staff, like newly promoted Operations Director, Isy Ferguson.

This move recognised over 25 years of service of one of the longest-serving employees of Hardie Polymers.
Managing Director Fergus Hardie paid tribute: “Isy has been fundamental to the development of our company over many years and thoroughly deserves this promotion.”
But why have one when you can have two?
Jack Ferguson joined his newly promoted mother, Isy who leads an expanded line up of staff.
Indeed Jack is the third generation of his family to work for Hardie Polymers following in the footsteps of his grandmother, Irene.

Hardie Polymers specialise in sourcing and distributing engineering and high performance polymers.
So we posted details about that in August’s article.
It explained how we offer a full range of Engineering Thermoplastics from the world’s leading polymer manufacturers.
September must have been our most energetic month as a team!
We took part in a Cancer Research event called Cycle 300.
The aim was to cycle 300 miles and we promoted our fundraising page to suppliers and customers by email and also via social media.
They kindly helped us raise over £1700 for this excellent cause!
After all that perspiration it was time for…
A team building and reward day on beautiful Loch Lomond
This ‘company field trip’ was a break from cycling and also sourcing great polymer deals.
We ended our wonderful year with a travelogue.
Fergus reflected on his trip to Dusseldorf for K2019 – the largest plastics exhibition in the world.
He reflected on the experience and reported on the themes of the show.
They included a focus on sustainability and recycling, environmental compatibility, saving resources and avoiding waste.
There was real engagement and progress by all sides of the industry, to effectively deal with the challenges of plastic waste.
Fergus spent two busy days meeting with suppliers and customers, as well as old industry friends and colleagues.
Fergus stayed on this boat for K. It was moored on the side of the Rhine.
We would like to say a huge thanks to all our loyal customers for their tremendous support this year.
We look forward to working with you all again in 2020 and building on our success together.
