New polymer look – new brand, new website
Hardie’s new logo
Hardie Polymers has undertaken a rebranding exercise. A fresh new dynamic logo reflects the evolution of the polymer business. The independent material supplier is building on its strong growth in sales of thermoplastics over the last few years with the combined launch of a new logo and new website.
As featured recently in Plastics & Rubber Weekly, Managing Director Fergus Hardie said: “Our new website has a modern and confident new look which will give more UK moulding companies choice on where to source their OEM-specified grades. The website will give them an opportunity to reduce their current price, improve on lead time or just offer some flexibility around minimum order quantities.”
New Polymer Search Facility
The new Hardie Polymer website features a new polymer search function. This allows customers to see instantly if the supplier can help them source their required grade of material.
Hardie says: “We wanted to give our customers a tool that can potentially save them considerable time from searching around the marketplace, trying to track down a particular grade of material. Now they can establish quickly and easily if we can help them. It will also be able to see the vast range of materials that we can actually source for them.”
Polymer Knowledge Base
The new website features a new comprehensive Knowledge Base section. A treasure trove of useful technical information for students, designers and processors can be found. These articles were written by the late, highly revered Dr Charlie Geddes of Napier University. This section covers numerous topics from mould design to key material properties.
