Considerable material shortages still effect the plastics industry. ‘Plastics Today’ mentions “global industry understandably remains a moving target given world tensions, responses to Omicron and other factors.”
Prices continue to push upwards to new record levels. Lead times for many grades can run to 30 weeks or more.
Although these market conditions are proving exceptionally difficult , Hardies continue to take advantage of their vast pan-European supply base (of over 350 polymer companies) to fulfil orders for our customers.
Our polymer stock levels are higher than they have ever been. We continue to bring in more and more stock for our customers. In this current climate, you simply cannot leave material to collect it another day or it will be sold to someone else !
After all, possession is nine tenths of the law !!
