Help to Grow

Hardie Polymers Manager on Help to Grow Programme

Jack Ferguson, our Technical Sales Manager, has embarked on the 12-week Help to Grow Management course – a UK Government-funded programme that is delivered in Scotland by the University of Strathclyde.

The course is designed to help participants build their capabilities in areas such as leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing and financial management.

Jack said: “I’m excited to have a place on the Help to Grow scheme which offers small businesses access to world-class leadership and management training, providing the skills and know-how needed to increase productivity and reach into growth markets whilst being supported by academics and experienced business owners.”

The programme is open to any small or medium-sized enterprise from any sector based in the UK that has been operational for at least one year and employs between five and 249 people.

Further information, including eligibility and applications, for Help to Grow is available through the Small Business Charter and programme details can be found on the University of Strathclyde’s website.

Jack Ferguson, Hardie Polymers' Technical Sales Manager, is studing for a BEng in Polymer Processing and has also join the Help to Grow management programme.
