  • Melt Temperature: The recommended melt temperature for PEEK is typically in the range of 360-400 °C.
  • Mold Temperature: The mold temperature for PEEK is usually set between 180-260 °C, depending on the specific requirements and part geometry.
  • Shrinkage: PEEK exhibits low shrinkage, typically less than 1%.

History

PEEK was first introduced in the 1980s by Victrex PLC. Since then, it has gained significant popularity as a high-performance thermoplastic due to its exceptional properties and versatility.
