SABIC/NexPoint polymers: availability, grade knowledge and responsive supply

Need a specific SABIC/NexPoint polymer grade?

We can help you find the right material and supply it when you need it.

When production schedules are tight, having access to the right engineering polymer is essential. Whether you know the exact grade you need or are looking for a material to meet a particular application requirement, our team can help you source from a broad range of SABIC/NexPoint polymers, with selected grades available from stock for next-day delivery.

Our range includes established SABIC/NexPoint brands such as VALOX™, LEXAN™, CYCOLOY™, ULTEM™ and NORYL™, supporting applications across sectors where material performance, consistency and dependable supply matter.

A broad portfolio of engineering polymers

The SABIC/NexPoint polymer portfolio offers materials with different combinations of thermal, mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. Choosing the right grade depends on the demands of the finished component, the operating environment and any relevant regulatory or processing requirements.

  • ULTEM™ (PEI): A high-performance polyetherimide offering heat resistance, dimensional stability and strength retention at elevated temperatures. It is used in demanding applications where materials must withstand challenging thermal conditions, including selected medical and aerospace components.
  • LEXAN™ (PC): Polycarbonate materials known for their impact resistance and, in suitable grades, optical clarity. They can be used in applications ranging from protective glazing and equipment housings to medical devices.
  • CYCOLOY™ (PC/ABS): A blend combining polycarbonate and ABS properties to deliver a balance of impact performance, heat resistance and processability. Depending on the grade, it can be suitable for automotive components, housings and other demanding applications.
  • VALOX™ (PBT): Polybutylene terephthalate engineering thermoplastics valued for their electrical properties, dimensional stability and performance in precision components. Applications include electrical and electronic parts and connectors.
  • NORYL™ (PPE-based blends): Materials offering low moisture absorption, dimensional stability and electrical performance, making selected grades suitable for electrical and electronic applications and precision housings.
  • CYCOLAC™ ABS: A material family used in applications requiring a balance of impact resistance, surface finish and processability.

Individual grades within each family have different properties and approvals, so application suitability should always be confirmed against the relevant technical data sheet and end-use requirements.

Finding the right grade is only part of the job

Material selection matters, but availability can be just as important. An unexpected shortage or a delay in sourcing a specific grade can affect production plans, your onward customer commitments and manufacturing efficiency.

That’s why we take a responsive approach to supply. Selected SABIC/NexPoint grades are available from stock, subject to stock position, order timing and delivery location.

If the grade you need isn’t immediately available, we can rely on our product knowledge and supply relationships to help identify the most appropriate sourcing route. The aim is to provide clear, practical support rather than leave you to navigate the market alone.

Know your grade? Or just your application?

You don’t need to have every material specification to start a conversation with us. If you know the grade, we can check availability. If you’re still assessing your options, tell us about the component, operating conditions and performance requirements, and we can help you explore suitable materials.

To discuss your polymer requirements, check current availability or find out more about the grades we can source, contact your usual account manager or email hello@hardiepolymers.com

We’ve got it.
